We signed Silvana Almagro on to SIMA’s Pro Artist Development deal with MMI, and during our first session we recorded a simple little dance demo called “Ain’t No Use To Me”… which I have sent over to my partners in the UK – not looking for a deal AT ALL, but rather just wanting their feedback, as I always do with all my development artists.
A few days later the feedback came: make this or that minor change please…
Huh? No critique? Just change requests? After I made the required modifications, I got word that an excellent international label wants to release this! 🙂 🙂 🙂
The contracts were issued soon after that and now we’re awaiting word regarding the release date. And in the meantime, the label’s asked me to prepare a follow-up – which we already did!
