We’ve had some excellent discussions with A&R managers of a few major labels in the UK – and they’re looking at our selected artists with great interest! YES!
As we’re considering the various ways to structure deals with our potential prospective partners, we (my UK partners and I) have decided that it’s high time we looked into forming a label of our own – and then contract with any future partners as an independent music entity, rather than on an artist-by-artist basis.
Our own label will also make it easier for us to conduct larger-scale promotions and test-marketing of our selected artists.
We’re still in the planning stages, but watch this space…!
